Chudleigh Town Hall, Devon

Summary

Michael J Bowman has been holding regular auctions at Chudleigh Town Hall since 1986, including auctions for antiques, ceramics, fine art, jewellery, militaria and collectors' items. Newton Abbot and Teignbridge are the main areas we cover, but vendors regularly consign items throughout Devon. Our weekly valuation day in Plymouth helps to cater for our Cornish client base.

Michael originates from Northumberland and left school aged 18, to join Whitley Bay firm of auctioneers, J. C. Featonby. Four years of training and professional examination culminated to admission by the old Incorporated Society of Valuers and Auctioneers (ISVA). On moving to Devon, he established auctions in Chudleigh in May 1986 and continues to hold seven selective sales each year containing specialist categories
